In Celebration of Eric Carle

Beginning Saturday, June 25, at 1:00 (ET), Eric Carle's birthday, and lasting all summer long, join Brightly Storytime for an extra-special celebration honoring beloved author and artist, Eric Carle.
This first-of-its-kind event for Brightly will showcase classics like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and a few new favorites; read-aloud's by authors Angela DiTerlizzi, Alissa Holder, Zulekha Holder-Young, Grace Lin, and Rafael Lopez, as well as a visit from a special guest, David Feinstein, literary educator of The Eric Carle Museum.
It will also feature some brand new segments, including:
- A tour of The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art with Chief Curator, Ellen Keiter
- A DIY craft inspired by Carle’s signature tissue collage style
- Special read-alouds featuring puppets from The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show
- An interactive song and dance presented by The Little Gym
